hello!
thought this was super interesting. http://the-inklings-cafe.blogspot.com/2007/04/for-those-of-you-not-as-old-see-how.html this is pastor wilson tan's blog i'm not sure what church he is from got the link some time back from david also can't rmb where he is from but there was the youth leaders camp somewhere in feb i think. ahhhhh i feel old cos i think i know what he is talking about a lot of the time. guess things don't change that much.

anyhow, shall make a simple one.

you know that you are my batch from nanyang primary esp my classes if you rmb
  1. either being part of psychoist in 2001 or hating the pple who played it.
  2. the stupid small yellow tennis ball being used for soccer by the guys and subsequently psychoist died.
  3. the banning of tennis balls
  4. the banning of pointer pens
  5. playing taitee with uno cards
  6. wallet game! haha... oh man ok one day i will teach 5b this. its super lame but quite fun.
  7. eating sweet potato porridge in the canteen during chi lesson cos they decided we need to empathise with the pple's condition mentioned in the ke ben
  8. listening to lame dramatic readings of the ke wen and having to run about looking for a cd player to play the cd
  9. running about for the same cd player to play oldies like unchain melody after psle
  10. attempting to turn on the old obviously non-functioning tvs in the classrooms to watch world cup 2002!
  11. pulling out correction tape insides and either letting it drop from the top floor and call it 'flag lowering' or throwing it such that it gets stuck on the fan and apparently its very pretty.
  12. your chi teacher telling you to throw your keben in the air after chi test.
  13. the amt of truth or dare. oh my goodness. stupid game.
  14. westlife. the loads loads of westlife!
  15. bunch of bored pple who created some sorta family tree that linked everyone up with everyone.
  16. getting back english spelling books meant closing the windows and getting ready to stand up and catch as the book is being flung to you.
  17. bai ban ting xie and getting "tian ping" or needing to do "kou shui pian"
  18. you know what tcs means
  19. you sang 'everybody sing a song doo-da doo-da everybody sing a song all the doo-da-day' with 4n on happy high days
  20. there was aircon. in the container of a room. until they decided we don't know how to appreciate and refused to give us aircon in that CONTAINER of a room=microwave [prob why we got high]
  21. maths lessons was all about yam pies and the indignance of comparision to the other class.
  22. the boy who chews uhu glue and staples.
  23. arranging the resource room and breaking something expensive everytime you do that.
  24. being able to walk into the staff room for no reason at all
  25. staying back in class after the end of recess bell has gone for donno how long until half the class decided to do that as well, pon assembly and kanna in trouble with the discipline pple.
  26. havin your teachers have to explain and defend you for the time half your class ponned assembly and for the time we screwed up prelims.
  27. copying practice papers cos there was at least 20 per subject.
  28. having short hair. and looking spastic but who really cares, cos they look as spastic as you do.
  29. the days ohp slides were impossible to copy cos of the construction next door that shakes the whole building.
  30. and the good old days where violence works cos half the guys are shorter than girls
  31. your class having 25 people. of which maximum 9 were girls
  32. the cynical probably underpaid sch dentist and the very very slow walks to the denist.
  33. 4 floors. watercooler on ground floor. classroom on top floor.

ok the list will never end. i liked some parts of pri sch:) haiz its so different le. one day i must go back see whats it like now.

34. going back during sars with your friends and havin to fake temperature cos we were roasting in the sun for so long cos the guard won't let you in
35. going back and having them take your student pass and print stickers that say you are an ex-student
36. seeing the old building for the last time...
